The Human Resource Development business plan was conceptualised and developed by clothing and textile representatives during the pilot phase of the KZN Clothing & Textile Cluster (KZN CTC), and was endorsed by an industry audience at a workshop hosted in June 2005. The result was a programme that focuses on the creation of a well-trained and highly skilled employee base in support of globally competitive regional clothing and textile industries through best practice knowledge sharing and joint training, intimate engagement with the CTFL SETA, information sharing, and an HIV & AIDS and community support element.
